Hey Internet: I'm Back.
I've let this site languish for years, so I'm once again moving it in an attempt to inspire me.
All the usual reasons are in play:
- I'm sick of paying Squarespace for a site that I basically don't touch
- I'm on the "I want to run things myself" side of the SaaS vs self-host pendulum
- I've been playing with some cool things, and want a place to document them
- I've gotten into amateur radio, and wanted to refresh the site before linking it with my callsign
- I've been wanting to play with Ghost for some time now
So, what's been happening since the layoff?
Professional Life
I landed at broadhead, where I'm VP | Group Digital Director. I head up a great digital team, and have a chance to work with some excellent clients who help us all Eat, Move, and Live.
During my time here so far, I've had the chance to help launch our AI initiative, lead some cool projects, and work with a truly great group of people.
Personal Life
The biggest news of the last few years is the addition of Harley to our lives. Say hi to Harley!
It's also the worst news, as she and Paisley DO NOT get along.
Outside of that, we've taken some great trips to the North Shore, Destin FL, and got to see O.A.R. play at Red Rocks, thus checking something off the bucket list.
I'm going to keep trying to start a habit of writing online, or at least keeping this place up a bit more.
